Psion performs a "Soft Reset" when the IR port is used

If your Psion is spontaneously resetting when you try to use the IR port, check that you don't have "Auto Switch Off" in Control Panel set to more than 30 minutes.

There is a bizarre bug which causes the Psion to reset when you access the IR Port if the switch off time exceeds 30 min.
