Configuration of PsiMail Internet
for GPRS with Orange in the UK

Requirements

1) A Psion 3a, 3c or 3mx with PsiMail Internet installed.

2) A mobile phone and network which support GPRS.

3) A cable connection between Psion and phone (the Series 3c/3mx IR port doesn't support the necessary protocols to connect by Infrared). This means that you require:

* the PsiWin Serial cable.
* the PC Data cable for the phone.
* a null modem adapter or null modem cable.
* any gender changers / serial adapters necessary to get all of this connected.

These settings work with a Nokia 6310i and the Orange network in the UK.

• Send modem initialisation string with carriage return

• Wait for "OK"

• Send "AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","orangeinternet"" with carriage return

• Stop script after waiting 25 seconds

• Send dial string with carriage return

• Stop script after waiting 25 seconds
