Fax Templates on the 5mx

The UK version of the 5mx has some Fax coversheet templates in the machine's ROM at Z:\System\Templates\Fax but it appears that versions of the 5mx sold in other markets may not have these files.

If you have these files, they can be copied from ROM, edited and saved on either Drive "C" or "D". To do this, make sure in the System screen menus - Tools / Preferences, "Show 'System' folder" has been checked.

Press Ctrl-Tab to bring up the directory (folder) tree and select Drive "Z". Highlight any folder in the Z drive and press Enter to return to the System screen which will now be displaying Drive "Z". From the System screen, you can navigate in the usual way to System\Templates\Fax and copy/paste a file into the same folder on "C" or "D" from where it can be edited. Obviously you need to have created the path System\Templates\Fax on the selected drive first.

Note: In the System screen, to get from "Z" back to "C" or "D", just press Ctrl-Q

If you don't already have any Fax coversheet templates, you can create your own in Word and save them to the same folder as above.
